Are You Licensed?
We ensure that each local handyman who works with us is licensed in the state they work in, and that our electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians are certified to their state’s requirements. In addition, each Honey Do location must be lead-safe certified by the EPA.
Are Your Businesses Insured?
As a handyman company, we provide every location with a $1,000,000 general liability policy to protect you and your home in the unlikely event of an accident while performing any of our handyman services. We also carry a worker’s compensation policy and an automotive policy on all company vehicles for protection while driving in the community.
Who Provides the Materials? Can I Choose the Colors and Brand?
You have the choice to purchase, pick up, and deliver the materials yourself, or we will be happy to do those things for you. To help you make an informed decision, we can provide information on all the current building materials & products available on the market, including colors, shapes, sizes, durability, and warranty of these products.
How Do You Charge For Your Handyman Services?
As your trusted handyman company, we provide a free fixed-cost quote upfront so that you are always in charge of your home improvement projects and handyman services. There are many cost-effective ways of accomplishing certain tasks to meet your budget, which we will share. The price you are quoted will never change unless the scope of work changes.
What Are Your Payment Options?
Final payment is due upon completion and your successful inspection of our work. If you need help financing any of our handyman services, we offer special financing for all of your needs. We accept cash, personal checks, and cashier’s checks. Some of our locations accept credit and debit cards as well.
How do I know I can trust the handyman in my home or office?
The Honey Do Service has a rigorous screening process for every local handyman. We drug screen, run criminal background checks, check references, and require a minimum of five years of relevant experience. In addition, we ensure that no worker is presented to the public until they have completed the training program required by our handyman company, including customer service and quality control.
Do You Warranty Materials & Labor?
We offer a one-year warranty on all of our work and handyman services. In addition, extended warranties on materials may be available according to the manufacturer.
Do I Need to be Home at the Time of Service?
Not necessarily. We will arrange for entry and for your inspection of our work upon completion. We have a well-trusted team, and we value your property, as it’s your most important investment.
